About Me
Usually when people come to an “About Me” page they’re looking for evidence of credibility – reasons why they should (or shouldn’t!) give any weight to what the web site owner is saying.
That evidence is usually expressed in the form of years of experience – such as “I have 8 years experience in MLM” – as if that in itself makes all the difference. It doesn’t! For example, I’ve been involved in MLM since 2001 – for many that sounds great. But wait a minute! The first part of that experience was indirect – though helping my wife out, and it wasn’t a great experience in terms of success – but it was great in terms of learning… so, just be a little cynical about what you read!
So, having got you in an unusual frame of mind, on to ‘me’ – except you’re still likely, I think, to be more interested in how you can benefit from spending any time with me on this blog & web site, rather than knowing what hobbies I have etc. Good! Stay focused!
Let me list a few benefits out here, which MAY come to you when you hang out with me on this blog:

I refer to these as my RITES – you should have your RITES too! (These were first coined or invented by Andy Bounds of JellyEffect fame).
I bet you were expecting me to list things like

- Tips
Well, these are just FEATURES of the experience you CAN get hanging out here. Until you DO SOMETHING USEFUL with these, you get no benefit at all (other than simple pleasure at just being here!!). Oh, and before I forget, you WILL get these features and more, from this web site & blog!
It is this kind of shift in mindset and perception that I hope to create in people so that, as a result, they are in a better position to apply the skills and knowledge they have got such that they get closer to their desired outcomes & dreams.
I have helped my corporate clients achieve some huge advances with their RITES – In just 1 week working with a broadcast/TV channel for example, I enabled them to generate a little under $2M annual savings – without firing people. I have helped individual business owners in a similar way, for example I coached one lady so she could get very clear and focused about what future she wanted, and this gave her the motivation she needed to mover her business forward – she already had the skills & tools she needed for success – she just hadn’t been doing the right things (for her) with them.

If you don’t, I can’t easily change what I do to help you – my mind reading skills are fading with age!
Why do I do this? Good question! I do this because I so often see the opportunities and possibilities for others and really want them to take these chances. And when they really want to as well, so often they run in to blocks that seem, from my position, relatively easy to overcome. Life and business shouldn’t be too easy, but should it be this hard? No! So I’m out to make things a little easier for people. I’d rather people didn’t have to experience some of the things I have on my journey through business life.
If you are vaguely interested in me as a person, well, thank you! You’ll be interested than to know I’m married to my best friend and fan, Tracy. We have 3 papillon dogs and a rabit, but no kids. I love all things that fly, especially the man-made stuff. I am also a rugby fan, an amateur astronomer (OK, I have a telescope and I read astronomy magazines!). I love to travel and Tracy & I have been on 5 continents between us – just S. America and Antartica to go! And I’m active in my community, having been chair of Andover Round Table twice.
